Colorful Float, Lilian Chan

This piece was composed to express my feeling of swimming in the ocean surrounded by colorful corals and fishes. Having intrigued by the ever-changing reflections on the sea surface,I used ascending and descending arpeggios to create the sense of floating in a tropical sea. My choice of chordsisthe sixth and seventh chords, which suggested a sense of freedom to me.
